Tuesday temperatures will have a decidedly un-December feel, with highs for Athens and northeast Georgia in the low to mid 70s, but forecasters say the Wednesday weather will be much cooler, with the mercury struggling to climb out of the low 50s. There is the chance of near-freezing temperatures by Thursday morning.
