Jason Momoa to voice Frosty the Snowman in new live action flick

It’s going to be a song of snow and ice for Jason Momoa.

Kahl Drago will go from hot to cold for his next role as Frosty the Snowman.

He will be lending his voice to the titular character for a new live-action version of the holiday tale, Deadline reported.

The film will be written by David Berenbaum who has worked with John Berg, one of the producers on “Elf.”

Berg will join Geoff Johns and Greg Silverman as producers, Digital Spy reported.

Deadline said the movie will have Momoa as a CGI Frosty in the live-action/CG world.

Berg said of the casting, “From his role as a fearsome count in a land of ice and fire to the oceanic success we all had with “Aquaman,” it felt only right to realize Jason, this time, out of snow,” Digital Spy reported.

The song “Frosty the Snowman” was written in 1950 and performed by Nat King Cole and Jimmy Durante, according to Oprah Magazine.

The most popular version of the show is the holiday television staple from 1969, the magazine reported.

Moama is also slated to star in the new adaption of “Dune” scheduled to be released in December, as well as “Sweet Girl” and “The Last Manhunt.”
