ATHENS, Ga.— Seventh-ranked Georgia and Gardner-Webb will play a split doubleheader Saturday starting at Noon at Foley Field due to Friday’s game being postponed for inclement weather.
Fans with a ticket to Friday’s game may use that for Saturday’s first contest at noon. Fans will be asked to clear Foley Field after the first game so the facility can be sanitized.
The second game on Saturday will not start before 4:30 p.m. Fans with a ticket to Saturday’s game may use that for the second game of the doubleheader. Both Saturday games will be nine innings. Fans must have a ticket to each game in which they plan to attend. The Bulldogs (4-1) were set to play Gardner-Webb (1-2) in a four-game series, however now it will be only three games. Sunday’s game will remain a single contest starting at 1 p.m.
All regular season Bulldog games will be available on the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network. All Georgia baseball games will be carried locally on 960 the Ref in Athens.
