ATHENS Georgia football coach Kirby Smart said there's "no timetable" for the return of starting right tackle Isaiah Wilson.
"He's out of the (protective) boot, he's able to put some pressure on it," Smart said, addressing the ankle sprain Wilson suffered last Wednesday night. "He's going to be doing some underwater running and doing some other things.
"He may be available this week, I have no idea."
The No. 3-ranked Bulldogs (2-0) are coming off a 63-17 win over FCS Murray State last Saturday, their 14th consecutive win at Sanford Stadium.
Georgia kicks off against SunBelt Conference member Arkansas State (1-1) at noon on Saturday in Athens (TV: ESPN2).
Smart said senior defensive tackle Julian Rochester, who underwent offseason surgery to repair a torn ACL, has been cleared to return to action.
"Julian is healthy, practicing, doing everything," Smart said on Monday. "He's got to earn playing time and go compete and work. I don't know that he's 100 percent confident in himself right now.
"But that part is up to him to earn the playing time."
Rochester did not play against Murray State on Saturday.
Junior college transfer cornerback DJ Daniel was held out of last Saturday's game, too.
"DJ is dealing with a little bit of a hamstring," Smart said. "It was bothering him the other day, so we held him out."
Kearis Jackson, who started the opening game at Vanderbilt, is expected out another two to three weeks with a broken hand.
