SEC commissioner Greg Sankey indicated on a recent teleconference his hope is that a new normal and the resumption of sports takes place in the fall semester. The spring sports championships have already been canceled and on-campus activities and practices are suspended.
"I think about everything going forward because we're being guided by public health information in decision making," Sankey said.
"But my hope is we can return to our normal organized activities, our normal experiences and be part of that celebration around soccer or volleyball, cross-country, football in the fall. But, we'll have to see."
Georgia football is as loaded with talent as any program in the nation.
