UGA at Alabama on October 17th will be a night kickoff

When Georgia Football travels to Alabama on October 17th it will kickoff under the lights.

The Southeastern Conference announced today that the high-profile Top-5 match up of the Bulldogs and the Crimson Tide is set for 8pm and will be televised on CBS.

The announcement was part of several games that have been assigned kickoff times to be aired on CBS. Other kickoff times announced are as follows:


Sept. 26 - Mississippi State at LSU, 3:30 pm ET / 2:30 pm CT

Oct. 3 - Texas A&M at Alabama, 3:30 pm ET / 2:30 pm CT

Oct. 17 - Georgia at Alabama, 8 pm ET / 7 pm CT

Oct. 31 - LSU at Auburn, 3:30 pm ET / 2:30 pm CT

Nov. 7 - Florida vs. Georgia (Jacksonville), 3:30 pm ET / 2:30 pm CT

Nov. 14 - Alabama at LSU, 6 pm ET / 5 pm CT

Dec. 19 - SEC Football Championship Game, time TBD


While officially announced today, the Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville has long been known to be a 3:30pm kickoff on CBS.
