Park plans discussed in Commerce, Hartwell

City officials in Commerce are making tentative plans for a new city park. They're talking about using Commerce city sales tax dollars to help fund a multi-purpose facility on 10 to 12 acres in Commerce, a park complex that would be used for football and soccer. 

An update on Hart County recreation facilities and programs is on the agenda for this evening's meeting of the Hart County Recreation Board: it's a 6 o'clock session in the community room at the recreation center in Hartwell.

Hall County Commissioners meet this afternoon: it’s a 3:30 session at the Hall County Government Center in Gainesville.
