2 students face charges after gun, ammunition found at Snellville middle school

SNELLVILLE, Ga. — Two students face charges after guns and ammunition was found at Snellville middle school on Friday.

A letter was sent to parents that stated a teacher noticed suspicious behavior and reported it to an administrator.

Officials found a gun and several bullets inside the backpacks of two students after conducting a search.

Police officials say no threats were made and the guns were never displayed to anyone.

The identities of the students were not released.
