The Athens-Clarke County Police Department says it has arrested a suspect in shootings that happened last year, one on Carver Drive and another on Chatham Drive in Athens. Ytrevious Roberson is 20 years old, from Athens. Another suspect, 26 year-old Douglas Dalton of Athens, is charged with helping Roberson avoid capture while he was a fugitive.

On February 10, 2023, the Athens-Clarke County Police Department arrested Ytrevious Roberson, 20, of Athens, GA, for several counts of Aggravated Assault, Violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. These charges stem from two separate shootings that took place in 2022; a December 29, 2022 shooting that occurred in the 300 block of Carver Drive, and a January 13, 2022 shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Chatham Drive.
During the course of Roberson’s arrest, an individual was found to be concealing Roberson in an attempt to prevent his apprehension by law enforcement. This individual, Douglas Dalton Jr., 26, of Athens, GA, was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension of a Criminal
