Another coronavirus death reported in Oconee Co

State’s positive test percentage continues to climb

Oconee County has recorded another death attributed to coronavirus, the 43rd COVID 19 death in Oconee County since the Department of Public Health began tracking the virus in March of last year.

Coronavirus vaccinations are scheduled to begin today in Madison County: health officials in Danielsville say the shots will be administered by appointment only.

The Georgia Department of Public Health says the state’s positive test percentage has reached eleven percent. More than six million Georgians have now been tested for coronavirus, with more than 660 thousand of them positive for COVID 19.
