CCSD to discuss disparity study

Conversation set for July 20

The Clarke County School District schedules what it says is a conversation about a disparity study in Athens: it will take place later this month, July 20 for members of the local business community to talk about the impact of economic disparity on education in Athens. A registration form is on the Clarke County School District website.

The Clarke County School District has engaged Griffin & Strong, P.C to conduct a disparity study to determine the availability of minority and women business enterprises in the local marketplace.

Advanced registration is free and recommended, but not required for participation. Click here to register.

Griffin & Strong, P.C. will host a virtual informational meeting from 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 20. The session will be an opportunity for the Athens-Clarke County business community to ask questions, learn about the study, and discuss how to participate.
