Two Georgia lawmakers want a federal probe of Georgia’s COVID 19 reports. U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock and DeKalb County Congressman Hank Johnson are asking investigators to take a look at discrepancies in numbers, especially when it comes to information from Georgia’s nursing homes. Data from the Department of Public Health and Department of Community Health have been different throughout the pandemic.

Gainesville’s new mass coronavirus vaccination site opened Tuesday: it is on the Hall County campus of the University of North Georgia.
