The Georgia House of Representatives has voted to codify a ban on the use of TikTok on state-owned devices.

Republican Senator Jason Anavitarte (Anna-vah-tar-tay) of Dallas is the bill’s main sponsor and pointed out this is not a content moderation bill. There’s concern that the company in China that owns TikTok could expose sensitive data it collects to the Chinese government.
