From WSB TV…

A Gainesville man was killed after his foot got caught under the wheel of a semitruck and he was crushed to death Friday, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office was called to reports of a man dead at a trailer manufacturing business around 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Witnesses told the deputy that workers at Cottrell Trailers were pushing a semitruck out of a bay when Thi Ngoc Hoang, 52, got his foot trapped under a wheel, sheriff’s office spokeswoman B.J. Williams said.

Williams said Hoang was trapped and that the semi truck rolled over him and crushed him to death. The sheriff said Hoang’s death was accidental.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the accident.
