There are arrests and racketeering and drug charges for a Hart County Commissioner and four members of his family: 65 year-old RC Oglesby and his 41 year-old son Stephen were arrested Thursday in Hartwell, along with Stephen Oglesby’s wife, 38 year-old Amy Oglesby, 21 year old Dasia Oglesby, and 28 year-old Monique Oglesby. The Hart County Sheriff’s Office says the racketeering charges stem from a conspiracy surrounded the allegedly illegal use of EBT cards.
Joel Cantraras is arrested in Gainesville, where police say he was operating illegal video gambling machines out of a laundromat. More than $18,000 in cash was confiscated; Cantraras was booked into the Hall County jail.

He was finally caught after a chase along Highway 441 in Rabun County—he crashed the allegedly stolen vehicle and tried to run away on foot.
