Lady Dogs game rescheduled because of COVID to be played tonight

Originally scheduled for Jan 7

A Lady Dogs basketball game that was originally scheduled for two weeks ago will be played tonight: coach Joni Taylor’s 22nd ranked Dogs will play at South Carolina, a game that tips at 6:30 with television on the SEC Network. The game that was set for January 7 was postponed because of COVID cases on the team in Columbia.

The University of Georgia Lady Bulldog basketball team will travel to Columbia, S.C. to take on the South Carolina Gamecocks next Thursday, Jan. 21 at 6:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.

Below is a revised schedule of SEC women’s basketball games on Jan. 21, which includes three games that were postponed due to the impact of COVID-19.

Georgia and South Carolina were originally scheduled to play on Jan. 7, but that matchup was postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test within the Gamecocks’ program.

Revised schedule of SEC Women’s Basketball Games for January 21:

· Florida at Vanderbilt (rescheduled from Dec. 31) — 1 p.m.

· Georgia at South Carolina (rescheduled from Jan. 7) — 6:30 p.m.

· Kentucky at Auburn (rescheduled from Jan. 14) — 8:30 p.m.

· Connecticut at Tennessee — 7 p.m.
