LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Gwinnett County fire officials are asking for the public’s help after investigators determined a fire that heavily damaged a Lawrenceville home was intentionally set.
Fire crews responded to a single-family home in the 700 block of Camp Perrin Road, where they found heavy flames coming from the house.
As crews worked to contain the fire, they encountered a partial collapse of the structure.
Crews searched the home and determined everyone inside had made it out safely. Six adults were displaced and are receiving assistance from the Red Cross.
Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set and are asking anyone with information about the fire to contact Gwinnett fire investigators.
Tips can also be submitted to the Georgia Arson Control Hotline, which offers a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest.
