As hand sanitizer is flying off the shelves at stores, at least two local distilleries in Georgia have stepped up to make their own using the alcohol they already have.
Clayton’s Moonrise Distillery is using gin infused with natural aloe vera to make hand sanitizer.
Atlanta’s Old Fourth Distillery started making and distributing free hand sanitizer on Thursday.
While they ran out on Saturday, they say they are restocking today.
