Another public hearing on the Clarke County School District budget is set for this evening in Athens, underway at 6 o’clock at District offices on Prince Avenue. Clarke County School Board budget adoption is scheduled for next Thursday.
An Athens-Clarke County Mayor and Commission work session is on tap for today, underway at 4:30 at Athens City Hall.
The Athens-Clarke County Airport Authority meets this afternoon: it’s a 3 o’clock session in the Flight Center at Athens-Ben Epps Airport.
Oconee County Commissioners meet this evening it’s a 6 o’clock agenda setting session at the Oconee County courthouse in Watkinsville. A facilities use sharing agreement with the Oconee County School District is on the agenda.
This evening’s Barrow County Commission meeting is set for 6 o’clock at the Historic Courthouse in Winder. There could be a new municipality in Franklin County: there’s a move to incorporate the unincorporated community of Gumlog.
