An Elbert County man is awaiting trial on public indecency charges: 23 year-old Juwan Allen is accused of exposing himself to a woman at a park in Elberton. He's also facing marijuana possession charges.
There are multiple child cruelty charges for a Hall County husband and wife: Jeffrey Williams is 43 years old; Crystal Williams is 33; both are from Gainesville. Both were booked into the Hall County jail after allegedly beating and in other ways abusing the young boy, who is now in the custody of his biological father.
Searchers have found and identified the body of a man from south Georgia who went missing while hiking in Tallulah Gorge. William Woodward was 36 years old, from Toombs County. The Rabun County Sheriff's Office says he was last seen alive on August 16.
A Buford man commits suicide after being accused of sexual misconduct. Jason Greeson was a manager of the pro shop at the Ice Forum in Duluth. Police say possible victims came forward on Thursday but before investigators could secure warrants, he took his life. A family member found the 40 year-old dead in the parking lot of a church.
