President Trump scheduled to visit Georgia this week

DALTON, GA — President Donald Trump is returning to Georgia this week as several prominent political figures from both parties prepare to campaign in the state ahead of the November midterm elections.

Trump is scheduled to hold a rally Friday in Dalton, northwest Georgia, alongside Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson and Congressman Mike Collins, who is challenging incumbent Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff.

The rally will mark Trump’s third visit to Georgia this year as he continues campaigning in key states ahead of the midterms.

Vice President JD Vance is also scheduled to visit Georgia on Wednesday for a rally in Atlanta.

Meanwhile, former Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to campaign in Georgia later this month.

Harris is scheduled to attend an event with Fulton County Democrats on October 30.

The upcoming campaign visits come as early voting begins Tuesday across Georgia for the November midterm elections.
