Saturday discussion to focus on UGA reburials

The recent reburials of more than 100 bodies believed to have been those of former slaves is the focus of a panel discussion set for 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the University of Georgia’s Richard Russell Building. The remains, in a somewhat controversial decision, were reinterred at Oconee Hill Cemetery in Athens. They were unearthed during the 2015 renovation of the University’s Baldwin Hall.
