Officials are searching for a man who disappeared days ago near a popular state park in north Georgia.

Sidiki “Prince” Kebe, 21, hasn’t been seen since Friday, sparking a massive search of the area, according to the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office.

His last known location was in the 3600 block of Highway 52 near Amicalola Falls.

“We had a resident here that saw a gentleman on their trail camera, so they were concerned about it called us to check us out,” Chief Deputy of Dawson County, Greg Rowan, said.

The sheriff’s office says multiple K-9 units, helicopters and other deputies have been searching day and night for Kebe. They have also tried pinging his phone several times.

His car was found abandoned on Highway 52 about a half mile from the park’s entrance with no license tags.

Kebe is approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has short dark hair and braces.

Channel 2′s Tom Regan was at the park Tuesday, where he talked to park visitors.

“We were hiking at the top of the falls,” Gregg Therieau said. “We saw police helicopters. Dogs were looking for him too.”

Rowan said the terrain is really rugged and difficult to navigate.

“I don’t know how far he is going to be able to get, or move in these conditions, whether he is injured or not,” Rowan said. “We just don’t know. We just want to find this young man and get him back to his family.

Kebe’s parents were at the park Tuesday keeping on top of the search effort.

Police said they found a note in the abandoned car, but the can’t yet disclose what was in the note.

Deputies ask the public to keep an eye out in the Amicalola Falls if they see Kebe walking along the roads or trails.

Dawson County Fire and Rescue also asks that people not enter the immediate search area to allow their K-9 teams to try and track Kebe.

Anyone who sees Kebe or has more information is urged to call DCSO at 706-344-3636.
