ATHENS — Kirby Smart knew things would be difficult for the Georgia offense in their first scrimmage.

The Georgia defense could well be one of the best units in the country, with stars at every level.

Add in the brutal heat and it’s understandable why the Georgia offense didn’t have the day it desired.
