GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A Duluth man has been sentenced to life in prison after a Gwinnett County jury convicted him of repeatedly raping a teenager.
Prosecutors say 25-year-old Anthony Dontae Murphy Jr. sexually assaulted the girl multiple times in August 2020. The victim reported the assaults to police in July 2024, leading to his arrest and prosecution.
Murphy was found guilty on five counts of rape. A judge sentenced him to three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.
