BROOKHAVEN, GA — An armed and dangerous murder suspect is off the streets of Brookhaven after police make an arrest in connection to a deadly shooting that occurred Sunday morning at an apartment complex off Buford Highway.
Investigators say the victim and 31-year-old Jose Ignacio were drinking inside the Carmel Creek Apartments when a fight broke out. Officers report Ignacio pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
Police describe Ignacio as having a scar on his left eye and multiple tattoos, including a horse on his left forearm, Saint Jude on his back, and lettering on his neck.
Using technology, police canvassed an area off Hickory Road in Chamblee where the suspect was spotted walking down the street.

Ignacio faces numerous charges, including murder and cruelty to children.
