GENEVA, SWITZERLAND — The World Health Organization says nearly a third of all women have experienced intimate partner violence.
The report shows in the past year more than one in ten women in a relationship report being subjected to physical and or sexual violence.
16% percent of victims are aged 15 to 19.
The WHO says global attempts to reduce domestic violence have been faltering.
Over the past two decades, the rate of annual decline has averaged just two-tenths of a percent.
