Getting less than seven hours of sleep per night leads to premature aging, study says

Waking up tired, lack of sleep

Researchers in Sweden studied more than 27,000 brain scans and sleep patterns and found people with poor sleep have older brains.

Scientists say that lack of sleep isn’t just minor sleep deprivation.

It’s aging your brain by about a year.

It also reduces attention spans and response time.

The study finds that men tend to be more impacted than women.

The CDC says about 70 million Americans are getting less than seven hours of sleep per night.
