Athens-Clarke County Police report the arrest of a fourth suspect in the March 5 shooting death of 24 year-old Ja’Vanni McDavid, who was gunned down on Northview Drive in Athens. 16 year-old X’Zydric Faust was arrested by police in Pinellas County Florida. Faust joins 19 year-old Anthony Brown, 20 year-old Jarden Appling, and 20 year-old Glendarius Tate as suspects in what police in Athens say was a gang-related shooting.

ACCPD Investigating Shooting-ARREST On March 29, 2023, with assistance from the Pinellas County (FL) Sheriff’s Office, X’Zydric Faust, 16, was taken into custody for his involvement in the March 5, 2023 fatal shooting that occurred on Northview Drive. Faust is charged as an adult with Murder.
