With this week’s adoption of an Athens-Clarke County budget, approved Tuesday by Athens-Clarke County Commissioners, comes an afternoon meeting of the County Board of Assessors: it’s a 4 o’clock session at City Hall.

A Hall County man is arrested on child porn charges: suspect Jonathan Malinguaggio is 36 years old, from Flowery Branch. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office says the charges were filed after images of child pornography were found on a cell that was confiscated when Malinguaggio was arrested on child sex abuse charges back in January.

There are fentanyl trafficking charges for a man arrested in Hall County: 39 year-old Brandon Butler of Gainesville was arrested by Hall County deputies in a church parking lot in Gainesville.
