There is a special called meeting of the Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections, a 3 o’clock session to certify the results of last week’s voting in Athens. Big majorities of Democrats and Republicans voted for President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in last Tuesday’s presidential preference primaries.
There is an evening meeting of the Oconee County Planning Commission, a 7 o’clock session at the Administrative Building on Macon Highway.
Another week of road work is set to start today in Oconee County, with paving planned for Greene Ferry, Broadlands, and the streets in Ramblewood.
Truett-McConnell University says it will, starting in the fall, introduce a new cybersecurity curriculum. Six courses will enable students at the school in White County to earn degrees in Truett-McConnell’s cybersecurity program.
