The Hall County Sheriff’s was, at last report, trying to track down a rape suspect: deputies in Gainesville were looking for 31 year-old Andres Perez, who is said to be the suspect in an incident that was reported late last month. He’ll face charges that include sexual assault and child molestation.
One person is dead after a house fire in Union County. Union County Fire Rescue says the name of the victim has not yet been released. The state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
