Athens-Clarke County Police say they've arrested three armed robbery suspects: police say 20 year-old Terique Eberhart, 19 year-old Raydreone Howard, and 20 year-old Tyreek Thomas face, between them, upwards of five dozen felony charges. The three men—all from Athens—were wanted in a string of robberies that included January hold-ups at a restaurant and a convenience store on Athens' east side.

ACCPD detectives announce today that three individuals are in custody, charged with multiple Armed Robberies and other crimes which occurred in January. Combined, Terique Travion Eberhart (20,) Raydreone Keshad Howard (19,) and Tyreek Amin Thomas (20) are charged with almost 60 felonies that include multiple counts of Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Motor Vehicle Theft, and Entering Auto. All three are from Athens. ACCPD believes the trio began with two Armed Robberies in the early morning of January 8, 2019, robbing a Golden Pantry convenience store and the Choo Choo restaurant. Earlier, detectives believe the trio stole a vehicle at a nearby apartment complex. In these incidents, Eberhart, Howard, and Thomas are each charged with two counts of Armed Robbery, three counts of Aggravated Assault, and one count of Motor Vehicle Theft. On the night and early morning of January 24 and 25, Eberhart and Howard are believed to be responsible for numerous Entering Auto incidents that occurred in the Cedar Shoals Drive and Barrington Drive area. Each has been charged with 19 counts of Entering Auto. In addition, ACCPD detectives believe that Thomas committed the Armed Robbery at Murphy’s Express convenience store on January 3, 2019. He has been charged with one count each of Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault in this incident. There are other similar incidents which occurred during this same time frame that ACCPD detectives are continuing to investigate and additional charges are likely for these individuals. Eberhart, Howard, and Thomas are in custody at the Clarke County Jail. “I appreciate all the hard work and long hours our detectives put into solving these Armed Robberies and other crimes. We’re grateful for the assistance we received from the public which helped remove these criminals from the streets,” said Jerry Saulters, Captain of ACCPD’s Criminal Investigations Bureau. “We hope the Athens community will feel safer with the arrests of these violent criminals.”
