The University of Georgia says this week's work on the renovation of Brumby Hall will make for traffic delays on South Church Street near the West Campus parking deck. It's work that will continue into July.

The sidewalks on Baxter Street and S. Church Street will be accessible for pedestrians during construction. Construction traffic for Brumby Hall will utilize the existing Brumby Hall driveway off S. Church Street. Flagmen will direct traffic on S. Church Street as needed during large deliveries. A portion of the pedestrian walkway connecting the S. Church Street entrance of the West Campus Deck/Lot W08 and Baxter Street will be closed and rerouted. Signage for rerouted pedestrian traffic patterns will be posted. The basketball courts between Brumby Hall and Russell Hall will be closed during construction.
