Child attacked by dog in Hall Co, convicted child molester sentenced in Habersham Co

An 8 year-old was flown by helicopter from a home in south Hall County to a hospital in Atlanta after being bitten by a dog. The Hall County Sheriff's Office and the Hall County Animal Control Department are investigating. 

A Habersham County man gets a 25-year prison sentence, his punishment for his child molestation conviction: Charles Herring is 40 years old, from Mt. Airy. Herring was arrested after images of child pornography were found on his computer.
