Another of what the Clarke County School District calls its listening sessions is set for 4:30 this afternoon at District offices on Prince Avenue in Athens: the Clarke County School Board is gathering public input on the School District’s proposed strategic plan.
The public feedback session comes before this evening’s School Board meeting, which gets underway at 6 o’clock, also at the central office on Prince Avenue.
From the Clarke Co School District website…
CCSD wishes to thank everyone — families, students, staff, and community members — who participated this past week in one of our four public listening sessions on the district’s new five-year Strategic Plan, which is under development. It was great to hear so many thoughtful perspectives from across the district, and we appreciate all of those who shared their aspirations for CCSD!
If you weren’t able to attend one of the sessions, there is still an opportunity to share your input! The Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement, which is facilitating the development of a new plan for CCSD, has collaborated with the district to put together two separate surveys — one specifically for students and the other for families, staff, and community members — in order for everyone to share their thoughts.
Click here to access the student survey and here to access the family, staff, and community member survey, or scan the QR codes below. The surveys will remain open through Friday, May 5.
And, as a reminder, you can keep up with the latest updates on the Strategic Plan process here.
