Clarke Co Sheriff’s Office receives trauma kits

The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office says the Kansas-based US Deputy Sheriff’s Association has sent to Athens 18 Patrol Trauma Response kits that can be used by deputies here.

From the Clarke Co Sheriff’s Office…

The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the United States Deputy Sheriff’s Association, located in Wichita, Kansas, for their generous donation of 18 Patrol Trauma Response Kits for our Field Deputies.

These kits, that contain a chest seal, CPR face shield, a tourniquet and more, can be lifesaving in the event of a major injury in the field. Kits will be kept in all CCSO patrol vehicles for easy acess in case of an emergency. CCSO appreciates this donation and the support of our Department and deputies.

“We are grateful for the donation of these trauma response kits for our deputies in the field and on the roads in Clarke County. We pray the kits never have to be used but are thankful we have them if needed,” Sheriff John Q. Williams remarked.
