A-CC Commissioners hold agenda-setting session

Athens-Clarke County Commissioners meet tonight, a 6 o’clock agenda setting session at City Hall. Proposed guidelines for historic districts and landmark properties are up for discussion.

There is an evening meeting of the Morton Theatre Corporation’s Board of Directors: it’s a 6:30 session at the Morton on Washington Street.

Oconee County Commissioners have signed off on a plan to repair a half-dozen tennis courts at Herman C. Michael Park in Bishop. The project comes with a price tag of $56,000. 

The City Council in the Hall County town of Lula is looking at a moratorium on business permits for new vape shops: a City Council vote is expected next week.
