A-CC Commissioners meet, Oconee Commissioners hold town hall

An Athens-Clarke County Mayor and Commission work session is on tap for today, underway at 5:30 at City Hall. Talk about the Firefly Trail bridge over Trail Creek is on the afternoon agenda.

There is an afternoon meeting of the Athens-Clarke County Library Board: it's a 4 o'clock session at the Library on Baxter Street. 

The Athens-Clarke County Community Tree Council meets this afternoon, 4 o'clock at the Government Building on Dougherty Street.

Oconee County Commissioners host a town hall meeting: it's set for 6 o'clock this evening in the Community Center at Oconee Veterans Park. 

Oconee County's Board of Tax Assessors meets this morning, 9 o'clock at the Oconee County courthouse in Watkinsville. 

Jackson County Commissioners have signed off on a budget that lowers the Jackson County property tax rate. It is a $73.3 million County spending plan.
