Another candidate is dropping out of the race for the 10th District congressional seat: Andrew Alvey says he will endorse Mitchell Swan in the May 24 Republican primary. Swan, in Walton County, is one of 10 GOP candidates in the race to replace Jody Hice, the Republican who is leaving the US House to run for Secretary of State.
With candidate qualifying set to start in ten days, a Franklin County Commissioner says he will not be running for reelection: Ryan Swails made the announcement at this week’s Commission meeting in Carnesville.
