Georgia Congressman Buddy Carter is in Athens today: the Savannah Republican will tour the University of Georgia’s Health Sciences Campus and get a first-hand look at some of UGA’s healthcare related projects. Carter is one of two pharmacists in the US House.
Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock comes to Athens today. His office says Democrat Warnock will visit the University of Georgia’s School of Agriculture to meet with local farmers and discuss his priorities for Georgia in the 2023 Farm Bill currently being drafted. Warnock is a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee.
