Investigators from the FAA have joined their counterparts from the National Transportation Safety Board in Oconee County: they will search for the cause of a Tuesday afternoon plane crash near Eastville. Three people were killed when a small plane went down in woods off Elder Road. The plane was flying from Columbia South Carolina to Tuscaloosa Alabama.
Oconee County Coroner says the victims were businessmen from Texas. Their names have not yet been released.
