Diamond Dog-Kennesaw game postponed

The forecast that includes rain leads to the postponement of today’s Georgia Bulldog baseball game: the Diamond Dogs will play at Kennesaw State tomorrow afternoon instead of this afternoon. First pitch is set for 5 o’clock Wednesday in Kennesaw.

From Christopher Lakos, UGA Sports Communications…

Seventh-ranked Georgia’s upcoming baseball game at Kennesaw State now will be played at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3.

The Bulldogs and Owls were originally scheduled to play Tuesday, March 2, but weather forecasts forced a schedule change.

Georgia enters Wednesday’s game with a 7-1 mark while the Owls are 4-3. Due to the ongoing pandemic, capacity at Stillwell Stadium has been reduced to 120 and tickets are reserved only for KSU students and fans on the home team’s pass list. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

All regular season Bulldog games will be available on the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network. All Georgia baseball games will be carried locally on WRFC 960 AM as it will serve as the primary home for all broadcasts. In Atlanta, Bulldogs fans can tune in to WFOM 1230 AM.

Fans can listen to every game online for free through the official website of the Bulldogs, georgiadogs.com and the Georgia Bulldogs app. Also, games that do not conflict with basketball broadcasts will be available on TuneIn. Live Stats are available via the Bulldogs app too. Georgia’s home games and most of the SEC road schedule will be available on the SEC Network+ platform too.
