There are now charges for one of the drivers in a two-vehicle crash in Elbert County: Charles Haynes is 39 years old, from Elberton. The Georgia State Patrol says he is facing counts of DUI and vehicular homicide after the wreck that claimed the life of 64 year-old William Rhodes, who was also from Elberton. The wreck happened on Country Club Road in Elbert County.
A Buford man is booked into the Hall County jail, accused of threatening to kill another man during a dispute in south Hall. 22 year-old Dashun Martin faces charges that include making terroristic threats.
The Police Chief in Cleveland says a group of juveniles is responsible for last weekend's water main break, a water line rupture that led to a boil water advisory for much of Cleveland. The boil water advisory was lifted Monday. The investigation is ongoing.
