Early voting continues in Athens and around the state

Early voting continues in Athens and around the rest of the state.

The Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections opened City Hall as a second precinct for the early voting that began Monday. Voters can also cast advanced ballots at the Elections Office on Washington Street. Oconee County voters can cast early ballots at the Oconee County Civic Center.

We are today 19 days away from the November 3rd Election Day.

Counties across the state have reported record-setting turnout during the first two days of early voting, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger says it’s up to local counties to decide whether or not they need more polling locations.
