Feedback wanted: City Hall seeks input on fire station relocation, land use plan

City Hall continues to solicit public feedback on plans to relocate Fire Station 5, which has sat the corner of Whit Davis Road and Cedar Shoals Drive since 1974. There is also an online form for feedback on the Athens-Clarke County comprehensive land use plan.

Fire Station #5 Replacement Project (SPLOST 2020) Site Criteria

This project provides funding for constructing a replacement fire station for the current Fire Station #5 located at 1090 Whit Davis Road. Site selection criteria provides a series of guidelines for evaluating potential sites for the new station. This survey is open through April 7, 2024.

Future Land Use Plan

ACCGov will host a series of public input events and an online survey as part of the Planning Department’s continued efforts to update Athens-Clarke County’s Future Land Use Plan. Events and opportunities for public input will take place beginning March 21 through the end of April 2024. The online survey will be open through April 30, 2024.
