Forum on Harris Shoals Park highlights local government calendar

Officials in Watkinsville are looking for public input on plans to enhance Harris Shoals Park: a public forum is set for 4:30 this afternoon at ESP offices on VFW Drive in Watkinsville.

Public Input session scheduled for Wednesday, June 12 from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm at Extra Special People (189 VFW Drive). Review and comment on the final concept design for the proposed ESP Miracle League enhancements to Harris Shoals Park.

There is an afternoon meeting of the Athens-Clarke County Hearings Board: it's a 2:30 session at the Government Building on Dougherty Street.

The Georgia Innovation Corridor Joint Development Authority meets in Winder: the panel that is comprised of representatives from Athens-Clarke, Oconee, Barrow, and Gwinnett counties is looking to attract business and industry to the Highway 316 corridor. Today's meeting is set for 3 o'clock at the Community Center in Winder.
