Full moon hike tonight at State Botanical Garden

The University of Georgia’s latest Full Moon Hike is on tap for tonight at the State Botanical Garden on South Milledge Avenue in Athens. The approximately 90-minute hike begins at 8 o’clock this evening.

See the garden come alive at night. Join the monthly Full Moon Hikes to enjoy the State Botanical Garden after hours and hear discussions on nocturnal plants and animals, the changing seasons, and moon folklore.

Be prepared to hike up to 2 miles on our wooded trails and in the garden, where visibility may be low at times.

A backpack carrier is suggested for those with young children or infants. Pre-registration is required.
