A 24 year-old Gainesville man is arrested on a murder charge: Deon Ellison is in the Hall County jail, accused in the shooting death of 23 year-old Jeramiah Bonds of Flowery Branch.

Deon Ellison is said to have been riding in a car with Jeremiah Bonds of Flowery Branch on I-985 Friday when the two got into an argument. Ellison is said to have shot Bonds in the head causing the car to crash.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office says Ellison then ran from the scene and fleeing into the Rabbitown Community of Hall County.
The 24-year-old Ellison was found later and taken into custody. He is charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and other charges and remains in the Hall County Detention Center.
