ATLANTA — The Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating a multistate outbreak of E. coli infections linked to Graziers raw milk cheeses.
Georgia is among the states affected by the outbreak.
The cheese was sold by Sierra Nevada Cheese Company. More than half of the people who have become sick are children 5 years old and younger.
More than half a dozen people have been hospitalized.
The recalled cheese products have a long shelf life. Anyone who has the recalled cheese should throw it away or return it.
